Rails Rally For 6-5 Win
The Rails had to overcome a fine effort from Virginia Beach pitcher Artie Best to grab a 6-5 win at Rails Ballpark. Best went 5.1 innings and allowed no earned runs. Richland reliever Manuel Morales picked up the win to move to 2-0. Ronaldo Baghina suffered the loss. The Rails sit in 8th place in the Menard's AA with a record of 21-21.

Richland won the game in the bottom of the 23rd inning. That's when pinch hitter Enrique Martínez hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Rails fans to their feet.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Richland manager Paul Baker. "It's usually not just one thing."
