The Virginia Beach Deuces powered past the Myrtle Beach Mermen, 8-1, at Tennille Grounds. Luis Manuel Flores went 2-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4, to lead the charge. The winner was Gabriel Herrera, who threw 102 pitches over 5.1 innings.
