Panda Park was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Montana Pandas and the Chicago Hawks.

Montana second baseman Pancho Salaedo picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Chicago Hawks, 8-3. Richard Sykes got the win, improving to 13-2. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 8 hits and 2 runs, while striking out 3 and walking 1. Javier López earned his 3rd save in 4 tries.

Salaedo had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the sixth. On a 0-1 fastball from José Guzmán, he banged a 2-run home run to left-center, giving the Pandas a 4-2 lead. It was the 16th home run of the year for Salaedo.

"I felt good up there," said Salaedo. "I saw the ball well."

Chicago has now lost 4 consecutive games.
