The Pandas had to overcome a fine performance from Chicago pitcher Anthony Hanover to grab a 3-2 win at Panda Park. Hanover went 8 innings and allowed 3 earned runs. In the bottom of the ninth, with no one out and the game tied, 2-2, third baseman Ray Sears won it for Montana. With the bases empty, Sears hit a 1-0 fastball from Anthony Hanover for a solo home run, giving his team a 3-2 win.
