The Tortolita Drummers scored a 7-5 win versus the Houston BC at Drummers Ballpark. Tortolita pitcher Anastasio Enríquez nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Pedro Figueroa was called on to finish, recording his 2nd save. At 39-43, the Drummers find themselves in 9th place in the Silver AAA.

Tortolita took a 7-5 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Luis Rivas hit a clutch 2-run home run to bring Drummers fans to their feet.

"That's the key at this level, throwing strike one," said Enríquez. "Successful pitchers do it."
