The Vermont Lake Monsters scored a 5-3 win versus the Houston BC at Monster Field. Vermont pitcher Alberto Robles nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Cherles Gachineiro picked up the save, his 6th. Vermont is now 26-26, Houston 28-24.

Early in the game, left fielder Arturo Gonzáles had a run-scoring triple for Vermont. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Lake Monsters on top, 2-1.

"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Gonzáles.
