Sun Caps Topple Lake Monsters as Fuentes Shines
Jersey City shortstop Gustavo Fuentes was instrumental in his team's 12-0 win over the Vermont Lake Monsters. Fuentes went 4-5 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Sun Caps. Jersey City now owns a record of 27-20.

Also producing for Jersey City was catcher Dominique Prost, who stroked a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the second. For the game, Prost went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3.
