The Tortolita Drummers got a superb performance from pitcher Eduardo Bravo. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Augusta. The Timber Hawks won the game, 4-3. In spite of the loss, Bravo was named the player of the game. He threw 7 innings allowing 3 runs. The winner was Augusta reliever Rodrigo Rangel, now 1-1. The loser was Jesús Rivera. Augusta has now won 3 in a row.

Augusta won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. That's when designated hitter Alberto Torres hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Timber Hawks fans to their feet.

Torres said this kind of win gives the team "a buzz."
