Multi-HR Game for Burton in 14-7 Win
Getting a good performance from center fielder Jack Burton, the Ellenburg Fighting Dachsunds defeated the Houston BC, 14-7. Burton went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 5 for the Fighting Dachsunds. Ellenburg reliever Dallas Blome was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Shawn Arnold took the loss. Chance Wiley got credit for the save for Ellenburg. It was his 1st of the year.

José Ortega was a key contributor to the win for the Fighting Dachsunds. In the bottom of the fifth with two out, the light-hitting first baseman stroked a single to center. He went 1-5.

"We swung the bats pretty good throughout the lineup," said Ellenburg skipper Armando Saldaña.

Ellenburg currently is in 6th place in the Silver AAA at 20-17.
