BC Lose to Flyers in Walk Off
Pennsauken withstood an impressive performance by Houston designated hitter Álex Ramírez to defeat the BC, 5-4, at Pennsauken Park. Ramírez went 3-6 with a home run, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Pennsauken reliever Cyrille Bertoletti picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Carlos Méndez was saddled with the loss. The 5th-place Flyers raised their record to 14-12.

The game came to an abrupt end with no one out in the bottom of the 17th. On a pitch from Carlos Méndez, Jim Unknown hit a walk-off run-scoring single. It gave Pennsauken the 5-4 walk-off win.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Unknown.
