Phoenix left fielder Roberto López was instrumental in his team's 6-4 win over the Tortolita Drummers. López, who is tied for 5th in the SAAA in triples with 1, went 2-4 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Hotspur Reserves. Jim Unknown picked up the save, his 1st. The Hotspur Reserves saw their record improve to 14-11.

López had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the first. On a first pitch fastball from Gustavo Pérez, he banged a 3-run home run to right, giving the Hotspur Reserves a 4-2 lead. It was the 3rd home run of the year for López.

"We'll savor this win," López told the Phoenix Citizen, "then get ready for the next game."
