Men Continue Skid, Thanks to Niemann, Hotspur Reserves
|
Benefiting from the performance of Alex Niemann, the Phoenix Hotspur Reserves defeated the Florida Men, 13-2. Niemann slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Hotspur Reserves. Prince Nakamura was the winner. Over 7 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 5 hits, with 2 walks and 4 strikeouts. Florida, at 2-14, is off to a dreadful start in 2026.
Niemann had a key at-bat for Phoenix early in the game. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and gave Phoenix an early 2-0 lead.
