BC Lose to Hotspur Reserves in Walk Off
Phoenix Hotspur Reserves starter Miguel Aguilar was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Houston BC, 6-5. Phoenix reliever Gabriel Hernández was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Katsuyoshi Takuda. Things have gone south in a hurry for the defending champion Hotspur Reserves, who notched only their 5th win in 13 games.

The game was at a stalemate until shortstop Luis Díaz came to bat in the bottom of the tenth. Facing Houston pitcher Katsuyoshi Takuda, he hit a 0-2 fastball for a solo home run. It was a game-changer, putting Phoenix on top, 6-5.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Aguilar told the Phoenix Citizen. "It's as simple as that."
