In a close game at Blue Sox Ballpark, the Chesapeake Continentals edged the Irving Blue Sox, 5-2. Chesapeake shortstop Lionel McCloud earned the nod as player of the game after he went 3 for 5 with a triple and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once.
