Simmons Brings A-Game, Ghosts Beat Rapiers

The Casper Ghosts and Durham Rapiers put on a pitchers' duel at The Graveyard.
The Casper Ghosts went home winners at The Graveyard, thanks in large part to starter Earl Simmons. Simmons silenced the Durham Rapiers, enabling Casper to grab the 1-0 win. Even with the win, the Casper Ghosts have a dismal 13-26 record.
Simmons scattered 5 hits over 8.1 innings for the Ghosts. With the win, Simmons goes to 4-3 on the year with 37 strikeouts.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Simmons said.
