The Chesapeake Continentals downed the Lancaster Farmers, 6-5, at Chesapeake Grounds. Rudko Hrnjak led the way, going 2-for-3 for Chesapeake. Pedro Silva, credited with the win, is now 3-0. He allowed 1 run on 1 hit in 1 innings. Earning his 5th save of the year was Fabian Thul.

Chesapeake grabbed control in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Christian Hoover delivered a run-scoring single, to make it 6-5 in favor of the Continentals.

"We found a way to get it done," Hoover said.
