Sandoval Delivers Walk-Off Win for Continentals
With shortstop Lionel McCloud leading the charge, the Chesapeake Continentals defeated the San Antonio BC, 6-5, at Chesapeake Grounds. McCloud, who is rated as the 55th best prospect by BNN, was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Pedro Silva picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-0. Marc Morgan was tagged with the loss. With the loss, San Antonio sinks to 2-9.

Ken Sandoval provided some late-game heroics for Chesapeake. In the bottom of the 11th inning, he hit a run-scoring double. It came on a 2-2 fastball from Marc Morgan and propelled Chesapeake to a 6-5 lead.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said McCloud.
