Rapiers Topple Ghosts with Late Rally
Durham Rapiers starter Mack MacDonald was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Casper Ghosts, 3-1. José Morales got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. The Durham Rapiers, now 4-2, have played some good baseball in the early going.

Jesús Morales found himself in a pressure situation in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Casper hurler Jeremy de Vos, the 19-year-old left fielder hit a sacrifice fly. His 4th RBI of the season put the Rapiers on top, 2-1.

"I'm not out there for personal accomplishments," Morales told a Durham Daily News reporter after the game. "I'm out there to help the team win, and that's what we did today."
