Scranton beat Brinkley, 9-6. The win in part was due to right fielder Jim Unknown, who nabbed player of the game honors. He was 4-5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The Supernovas move to 32-29 with the win, while the Belugas drop to 29-32.

Scranton took the lead in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, Keith MacKey stroked a 2-run single to make it 5-3, Supernovas.

"We swung the bats pretty good throughout the lineup," said Scranton skipper Henry Russell.
