Saunders goes 4-for-5, Leads Buzz to Win
The Salt Lake City Buzz stopped the Santa Barbara Golden Cranes, 8-2, at Spirits Stadium. The Buzz got a big game from Wayne Saunders, who went 4-5 with a triple, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Salt Lake City reliever Caleb Sobieski picked up the win, upping his record to 2-1. Jason Troughton absorbed the loss. Getting the save was Jim Unknown, his 1st.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fifth when Saunders, who leads the 3AAA in RBI with 52, hit a run-scoring double. It propelled the Buzz into the lead, 2-1.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Salt Lake City manager Enrique Zumaya.

The Buzz' win now puts them at 36-20.
