Primes-Willes never let Sioux Falls get something going. The Naperville right-hander commanded his cutter in pitching the Battlekings to a win. Getting the save was Jason Puckett, his 3rd. Naperville bumps their record to 13-20 with the win.

Also pitching in was Naperville catcher António Guzmán, who hammered a 2-run home run in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, Guzmán was 1 for 2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"For the most part, I stayed out of the middle of the plate," Primes-Willes said.
