Sioux Falls turned a good effort from starter Michael Fletcher into a win over the Salt Lake City Buzz at The Bamboo Forest. The final score was 3-1. The winner was Sioux Falls reliever Shao-qi Phan, now 1-1. The loser was Stephen Hollingsworth. With the win, Sioux Falls pushes its record to 8-10.
Sioux Falls took a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Magali Lenidas hit a clutch 2-run home run to bring Red Pandas fans to their feet.
