Red Knights Win Thriller, 6-5
The Capital District Red Knights gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.

The Capital District Red Knights defeated the Rocky Mountain Nuggets, 6-5, at Capital Grounds. Capital District first baseman Sergio Ortíz was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Capital District, at 23-10, sits in first place in the Division III.

Alfonso Enríquez was the walk-off hero for Capital District. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, the Capital District center fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Capital District manager Don Lookingbill.
