McKinney Slugs Flamingos to 13-4 Win
The Las Vegas Flamingos knocked off the Chicago Hawks, 13-4, at Hawks Ballpark. Chris McKinney, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Las Vegas won. The first baseman was 3-5 with 2 home runs and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 6. Las Vegas, at 2-0, is off to a blistering start.

One important at-bat came with a runner on 1st in the top of the sixth, when McKinney hit a 2-run home run. The Flamingos went on to win.

"I was able to barrel up some pitches," said McKinney.
