Grafton Middies starter Daniel Martínez was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Northern Virginia Retrievers, 1-0. Grafton, at 55-50, occupies 7th place in the Division II.

Mario Ramos drove in one run for Grafton. The 2023 Newcomer of the Year Award winner had a key at-bat in the top of the third. That's when he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Raúl Gómez. It was his 66th RBI of the season.
