Rangers Win at Phoenix, 7-6
|
Austin starter Ernest Torres had a strong outing against the Phoenix Hotspur at Chase Field. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 7-6 win. Torres picked up the win for Austin, going 7 innings. He gave up 4 runs on 9 hits. He now sports a record of 3-6. Júlio Rodríguez was called on to finish, recording his 24th save.
Austin took control in the top of the seventh. With two out and a runner on 2nd, Orlando Padilla hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Rangers.

Austin, now 58-46, holds second place in the Division II.
