USSL Double A Names Top Player Monday, September 1st, 2025 22-year-old David Breitling made a few Salem headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 6 hits in 11 at-bats to put up a .545 average. Breitling collected 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 3 runs. This year Breitling has hit at a .306 clip with 106 hits, 9 home runs, 62 RBIs and 67 runs scored. |
