3AA Awards Player of the Week Monday, August 4th, 2025 25-year-old Iván Hernández made a few Ft. Polk South headlines during this past week as the rookie shortstop proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and M3L Double A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 10 hits in 20 at-bats to put up a .500 average. Hernández collected 1 home run, 8 RBIs and scored 3 runs. This year Hernández is batting .292 with 6 home runs and 38 RBIs. In 71 games he has scored 35 times. |
