SAAA Announces Player of the Week Monday, June 2nd, 2025 25-year-old Alfredo Rivera made a few Houston headlines during this past week as the rookie first baseman proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and USSL Triple A officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 14 hits in 25 at-bats to put up a .560 average. Rivera collected 2 home runs, 10 RBIs and scored 5 runs. In his season totals, Rivera has 2 home runs, .371 BA, .408 OBP, 21 RBIs and 8 runs scored. He has played in 24 games. |
