Setback for New Amsterdam and Enrique Morales Friday, October 17th, 2025 The New Amsterdam Republics will have to do without second baseman Enrique Morales even longer than expected. Team doctors say that Morales's recovery from a fractured thumb has not gone well and more time will be needed to treat it successfully. The Republics trainer indicated it would be at least one week before they would consider activating Morales. Looking at his present stats, Morales has compiled a .249 batting average in 100 games with a .293 on-base percentage, while hitting 2 home runs and driving in 27 runs. |
