Grafton's Maldonado Gets SL Player of the Week Monday, September 22nd, 2025 It can be difficult for a young player to step out of the shadows and assert himself in the Silver League, but last week Carlos Maldonado of the Grafton Middies reminded everyone just why he's here as he threw up numbers that made him an easy selection for Player of the Week. Maldonado rocked opposing pitching for a .452 average (14-for-31), 1 home run and 8 RBIs to come away with the award. Maldonado is batting .289 this season in 73 games with 5 home runs, 45 RBIs and 39 runs scored. He has 90 hits in 311 at-bats. |
