Isley Strokes 5 Hits Monday, June 23rd, 2025 Washington center fielder Mike Isley could do no wrong in today's 14-2 win over the U-21 as he collected 5 hits. "In every one of his at-bats things were in his favor... he got hitter's counts," the skipper of the U-21 said to the press corps after the game. Isley agreed. "The key is getting ahead. Once you get ahead, it makes it a lot easier because you get a better pitch to hit. You know the pitcher has to come in with it. And you're ready." Mike Isley hit an RBI single in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th.
