Manuel Gets 3A #1 Pitcher Trophy Monday, September 1st, 2025 The Idaho Falls Chukars celebrated today after the news filtered through the clubhouse that Paco Manuel had been selected as August's M3L Single A Pitcher of the Month. Manuel's zest for the game has been a frequent topic on the sports pages and his numbers of late have made his fans even more enthusiastic. "Our coaching staff really helps me prepare well," Manuel said, "and the fans feed off good pitching. Your pitches just seem to have that extra pop to them when the fans are behind you and you feel confident you can get outs." Manuel tossed 33.2 innings last month, holding opponents to a .153 average while striking out 42 batters. In 5 starting assignments he came away with a 4-1 record, putting together an ERA of 1.34. His record this season is 15-2 in 18 starts and Manuel has a 1.52 ERA. |
