Slip on Wet Floor to Sideline Morales Thursday, September 25th, 2025 Albert Morales will be out of action for the next few weeks after slipping on a wet floor at his home. The Bowties catcher suffered a gluteus strain when his feet went out from underneath him as he unwittingly walked across a recently-mopped kitchen floor. "It's a little embarrassing," said Morales of his aching posterior. "I can't even sit down comfortably at the moment." Although teammates have been cracking jokes at his expense, Morales is taking the injury in stride. "I'm sure the idea of me falling on my backside amuses them quite a bit, but I'm not laughing about having to be out for 2 weeks. I want to get back on the field and help these guys win some ballgames." |
