Thrilling Walk-Off Win for 1837 BBC
The Houston 1837 BBC did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the Austin Rangers at Houston Grounds. Nobody did more than pitcher Gary Bailey, who captured player of the game honors. Houston currently is in 5th place in the Division II at 42-38.

José Marín provided some late-game heroics for Houston. In the bottom of the tenth inning, he hit a run-scoring single. It came on a 1-2 curveball from Júlio Rodríguez and propelled Houston to a 3-2 lead.

"We had a good game plan," Bailey said, "and we were able to execute it."
