Express Need Extra Frames to Get Past Republics
In a low-scoring game between the Wizarding Express and the New Amsterdam Republics, pitcher Bartolo Ramírez was masterful on the mound. The Wizarding right-hander was named the player of the game in Wizarding's 3-0 win. The second-place Express have won 5 in a row.

Wizarding won the game in the bottom of the 12th inning. That's when first baseman Carlos Ortega hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Express fans to their feet.

"Tough ballgame, tough loss," said New Amsterdam manager Sal Gaudio.
