|
Anselmo Berneu was instrumental in his team's 4-1 triumph over the Mancelona Torch. The catcher went 2 for 2 with 2 home runs and a walk for the Yellowknife Dragonblood. Víctor Solís closed it out for his 4th save. The Dragonblood now have a record of 28-43.
The game turned with no one out in the top of the sixth when Berneu, who is tied for 9th in the PA in runs scored with 28, hit a solo home run. It propelled the Dragonblood into the lead, 2-1.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Berneu told the Yellowknife Bulletin.
