Bulls Suffer 5-1 Setback
The Put-In-Bay BC went home winners at Ballpark of Mt. Vernon, thanks in large part to starter Felipe Pereira. Pereira silenced the Mt. Vernon Bulls, enabling Put-In-Bay to grab the 5-1 win. With the win, Put-In-Bay has a record of 36-31. Mt. Vernon falls to 21-46.

Also having an impact was first baseman Lou Lumsden, who stroked a 2-run single in the top of the first for Put-In-Bay. For the game, Lumsden went 1-5. He drove in 2 runs.

"We were in it," said Mt. Vernon manager Melvin Baldwin. "We just didn't score enough runs."
