Ramos Lifts Middies to 10-9 Win
The Grafton Middies grabbed a 10-9 win over the Toledo Titans at Field of the Middies. Grafton first baseman Mario Ramos was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 3 times and driving in 5 to earn player of the game honors. Lynwood Matos got credit for the save for Grafton. It was his 1st of the year. The loss drops Toledo to 1-1.

Grafton took a 9-8 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning, when Scotty Anderson hit a clutch solo home run to bring Middies fans to their feet.

"Ugly win or not, we'll take it," said Ramos.
