|
Bellevue beat Delaware at Carrier Field, eking out a 5-4 win. The win was due in large part to pitcher Tye Collyer, who earned player of the game honors. Raúl Colón picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 1-2. Armando Marrero was tagged with the loss. Bellevue has run its win streak to 5 in a row.
One important at-bat came with runners on 1st and 3rd in the top of the sixth. That's when Alberto Lastaneda reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. The Bruins went on to win.
