Yakima third baseman Lenny Roper was a significant contributor in his team's 4-3 triumph over the Casper Ghosts. He went 3-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for Yakima. Finn Wuilink, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 3rd save. The Hops' win now puts them at 25-16.

The game turned with two out in the bottom of the seventh when Roper hit a 3-run home run. It propelled the Hops into the lead, 4-1.
