The Tacoma Fur Traders topped the Athletic Club KC Academy, 2-0, in USPL Double A action at KC Academy Field. The player of the game was Tacoma pitcher Xavier Benítez. Benítez was the winning pitcher and moves to 2-4. He threw 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 2 and giving up 2 walks. The 5th-place Fur Traders now have a 4-game winning streak.
