Behind a solid performance from third baseman Ray Sears, the D.C. Divided defeated the Northern Virginia Retrievers, 6-4. Sears went 1-1 with 3 walks, while scoring 2 runs for the Divided. At 53-39, the Divided find themselves in third place in the Division I.

The most critical at-bat came in the top of the ninth inning. With two out, Mario Castillo hit a 2-2 forkball from Harold Elkins for a run-scoring single. It put D.C. in front, 5-4.
