Crowds lined up early in front of Seahwaks Stadium, eagerly awaiting the start of the 2025 M3L Single A season. On the mound were Santiago López for the visiting Niagara Falls Expos and Quentin Bowers for the hometown Myrtle Beach Seahawks. In a spirited contest, the Expos pulled out the win, defeating the Seahawks by the score of 7-3. Earning player of the game honors was Santiago López.

Niagara Falls took control in the top of the eighth. With one out and a runner on 3rd, Luis Rodríguez hit a run-scoring single to make it 4-3, Expos.

"We try to keep the mood light around here," said Rodríguez. "Winning helps."
