Multi-HR Day for Alomar as Piranhas Overpower Thundercats, 8-4

The Panama City Piranhas downed the Richardson City Thundercats, 8-4, at The Tank. The Piranhas were led by Luis Alomar, who captured player of the game honors. He slugged 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Panama City, at 32-45, sits in 8th place in the Division I.
In the bottom of the second inning, shortstop Armando Alvarado came through big-time for the Piranhas. With Panama City leading 1-0, he belted a grand slam home run.
"In baseball, you have your ups and downs," said Richardson City manager Imran Kopitar. "You just try to stay level-headed the whole time."
