Cole goes 4-for-4, Leads Grasshoppers to Win
San Bernardino and Ottawa duked it out at Field of the Grasshoppers and the Grasshoppers came out victorious.

In a tight contest at Field of the Grasshoppers, the San Bernardino Grasshoppers edged the Ottawa Nationals by the score of 8-3. The San Bernardino Grasshoppers' third baseman Brandon Cole, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. César Valdéz converted his 1st save in 1 tries.

In the bottom of the 3rd, San Bernardino took the lead on a bases-clearing double by Mario Nieves. At the time, the Grasshoppers were trailing 1-0, but Nieves's hit with two outs against Ottawa pitcher Travis Nelson put them in front, 3-1.

Ottawa manager Rob Henry said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.

The 7th-place Nationals have dropped 6 straight games.
