The Glendale Herons and Richland Rails put on a pitchers' duel at Rails Ballpark.

The Glendale Herons got a magnificent performance from pitcher José Ortíz, who muffled the Richland offense en route to a tight 2-0 Herons win at Rails Ballpark. Guang Wen earned the save for Glendale, his 1st of the year.

Lionel McCloud's at-bat in the top of the sixth was significant for the Herons. Coming to the plate with the bases loaded and Glendale leading 1-0, the shortstop drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Ortíz told the Glendale Observer.

The Glendale winning streak has now reached 4 games.
