The Westwood Sixshooters got a strong performance from pitcher Joe Griffin, who stymied the Ottawa offense en route to a 6-2 win at Sixshooters Stadium. Griffin picked up the win for Westwood, going 5.1 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 2-2. Earning his 2nd save of the year was José Barajas.

Though it wasn't a flawless game -- none is -- the fans who filled the stands at Sixshooters Stadium seemed to enjoy watching the M3L Double A action.

"I liked his command," said Westwood manager William Franklin. "Joe was throwing strikes."

Westwood is now riding a 3-game win streak.
