Hot Start Continues for Rails
The Richland Rails got a stellar effort from pitcher Hartmann Riedman, helped Richland score a 3-2 win over the visiting Ottawa Nationals. Richland reliever Rick Kennedy got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Eric Patnode was tagged with the loss. The save went to An Jang-Yop, his 3rd this season.

Richland took control in the bottom of the eighth. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Kazu Hishida hit a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Rails.

Riedman called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."

The Nationals drop to 8-10 and continue their inconsistent start to the 2025 season.
