Chicago turned a good effort from starter Mark Bell into a win over the Seattle Aviators at Boeing Dome. The final score was 4-2. Shi-lin Li finished to wrap up his 2nd save. At 27-50, the Hawks are currently last in the Division III.

Jeff Conklin drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances for Chicago. The 28-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the second. That's when he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Eduardo Molina. It was his 17th RBI of the season.

"Getting the win feels pretty nice," said Conklin. "More importantly, I had a good game."
